The Technology Vision 2020 was a massive national exercise implemented by Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC) and released to the nation through a form of documents. A vision is a picture of what is possible or what is desired in a long-term future. It could be of an individual in origin or it could be a collective in its conception.

SCT Institute of Technology was established with a goal to impart value added technical education by means of various engineering courses through updated facilities and highly qualified faculties. I call this a holistic mission, as it contributes to the development goal of India.

New domains like nanotechnology are now changing the basics of many applications in multiple specialties, as for instance it is used in industrial manufacturing of machineries and tools and also adapted in finding remedies for the treatment of many diseases. It is ideally located at Vignanagar, with good infrastructure, pleasant environment, and as a perfect place for the students from diverse cultures to share and closely associate in harnessing individual skills for the preferred technical careers.
